Steady Acceleration and Improved Performance Katelyn Beck participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon, showcasing impressive consistency and improvement. With a final time of 1:57:20, she maintained an average pace of 8:57 min/mile over the 13.1 miles. Notably, Katelyn accelerated through the race; her fastest split was the final mile at 8:07 min/mile, demonstrating a strong kick. This performance is a significant improvement from her previous race at the 2022 Mesa Marathon, where she clocked 2:05:14 with a 9:33 min/mile pace. Throughout the splits, Katelyn consistently improved her placing across various metrics. Initially starting at around the 1422nd place overall, she progressively climbed the ranks to finish 1214th out of 3859 participants.
