Steady Progress with a Strong Finish Stephanie exhibited consistency throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon, with an overall completion time of 5:38:09, covering the marathon distance of 26.2 miles. Her average pace was 12:54 min/mile, placing her 57th in the competitive F55-59 division out of a total of 3624 participants. Notably, her initial mile started at an 11:00 min/mile pace, demonstrating her ability to maintain a solid start. As the race progressed, Stephanie managed her pace effectively, maintaining splits mostly around the 12:00 min/mile range. Her performance shows great potential for optimization, particularly in the latter stages of the marathon. For future races, focusing on sustaining the momentum observed in the first half could further improve her finish times. Strengthening her splits in miles such as 21 (15:53 min/mile) and 23 (15:58 min/mile) can contribute to overall improvements.
