Steady Pacing Leads to Strong Finish in Marathon Curtis Weisenberger delivered a commendable performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the race with a time of 2:20:26. Maintaining an average pace of 5:21 min/mile, Curtis secured 3rd place overall among 3,624 participants. Notably, he led his division (M35-39) throughout the race. Curtis demonstrated strong consistency, with his pace rarely deviating more than a few seconds per mile, except for an impressive 4:44 min/mile in mile 26. Curtis's performance remained steady throughout, evidenced by consistently positive splits. Particularly impressive were mile splits of 5:12 and 5:11 from mile 4 and mile 19, respectively, indicating well-managed speed and control.
