Consistent and Improving Performance Blanca Lujan Westrich from Chandler, AZ, demonstrated steady improvement in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. She completed the race with a total elapsed time of 1:00:03, achieving an average pace of 9:41 min/mile. Her placement was solid, finishing 207th among female participants and 28th in her age group (F40-44). Across the splits, Blanca started strong with a 9:51 min/mile pace, improving her pace to 9:00 min/mile in the last mile. Compared to her previous race at the 2024 Mesa Marathon, her performance has improved notably, shaving off over four minutes from her time and increasing her placement in the division category. Blanca’s progress indicates effective pacing strategy and consistent effort throughout the course. Continuing to work on maintaining a more even pace could lead to further improvements.
