Consistent Pace and Quick Recovery Lead to Strong Finish Amy Delong delivered a notable performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon in the half marathon event, finishing with an elapsed time of 1:22:09. Her overall pace was a commendable 6:16 min/mile, showing improvement from her previous finish of 1:23:16 at the 2022 Mesa Marathon. Amy demonstrated her ability to maintain a consistent pace across the course, with her fastest split recorded at 5:45 min/mile. Amy's race strategy showed potential, particularly in her recovery from a slower split at mile 9, where her pace was 9:34 min/mile. She quickly bounced back, closing strong with a final mile split of 5:45 min/mile. Throughout the race, she remained in the top third of the competitors, finishing 35th among females and 14th in her division, F30-34.
