Steady Performance with Notable Improvement in Pace Mid-Race Robert Bolda ran a consistent marathon at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile race in 4:59:43, with an average pace of 11:26 minutes per mile. Notably, Robert maintained a relatively steady performance throughout the race. While his pace slightly fluctuated, he showed improvement between miles 3 and 4 where his pace quickened from 11:00 to 10:54 min/mile. Later in the race, his pace picked up again, notably from miles 19 to 24, where it improved to within the 11:14-11:26 min/mile range. Consistently strong pacing brought impressive results in his division, where he finished 34th among the M65-69 age category against a total field of 3624 participants. Maintaining the momentum around miles 17 and 19 with sub-11 minute miles shows potential for increasingly stronger segments.
