Steady Pace Improvement and Strong Finish Sara Munguia, representing Boston Buddies, delivered a notable performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, clocking in at 59:44 with an overall pace of 9:38 min/mile. Her consistent improvement throughout each split is commendable, particularly in her final mile where she posted her fastest split at 8:38 min/mile. Sara started with a pace of 10:24 min/mile and gradually increased her speed, effectively reducing her time per mile. Sara's overall ranking was 503 out of 2107 participants, placing 11th in her division (F45-49) and 205th among female runners. Compared to her previous half marathon performance at the 2023 Mesa Marathon, where her pace was 10:54 min/mile, Sara has clearly demonstrated significant progress.
