Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Brad Nelson, hailing from Gilbert, AZ, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event. At age 52 and competing in the Male 50–54 division, he completed the race with a time of 1:35:24, maintaining an overall pace of 15:23 minutes per mile. In a field of 2107 participants, Brad positioned himself well, placing 39th in his division. Interesting to note was Brad's consistent pace throughout most of the race, with a notable improvement in the final mile. His fastest split was the last, clocking 14:06, significantly quicker than his average. This suggests potential for Brad to explore a stronger pace in the early and mid-segments of future races.
