Promising Start with Steady Finish Corin Nelson demonstrated endurance and consistency during the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Starting strong, Corin's fastest split was at mile 3 with a pace of 7:33 min/mile, placing 14th in the M15-18 division. His early pace highlighted potential for sustained speed as his initial splits were impressively below the 8-minute mark. As the race progressed, Corin maintained a commendable overall pace of 8:56 min/mile. While his split pace decreased slightly, he effectively managed his energy, resulting in an overall time of 1:57:04. Notably, Corin's pacing strategy in the later miles ensured he maintained a respectable position within his age division, finishing 26th out of the M15-18 participants. Encouragingly, focusing on maintaining the earlier pace throughout the race could enhance future performance significantly.
