Steady Effort with Consistent Splits Throughout the Race Ashton Meeks delivered a steady performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Over the 13.1 miles, he maintained an average pace of 10:17 min/mile, completing the race in 2:14:50. His early splits showed a strong start, with the first mile at 10:16. Notably, the fourth mile was his fastest, clocking in at 9:31. Although there was a slight slowdown in the latter miles, particularly between miles 9 and 11, Ashton showed resilience by maintaining a consistent overall pace till the end. The race saw 3,859 participants with Ashton placing 2009th overall, 1069th among men, and 98th in the M19-24 division. A detailed look at his splits reveals an opportunity to focus on pacing during the latter stages to sustain the initial speed seen in early segments.
