Consistent Splits with a Strong Start and Steady Finish Miguel Perez displayed a strong performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with an overall finishing time of 1:31:26, maintaining an average pace of 6:58 per mile. Starting with an impressive first mile at 6:43, Miguel set a solid tone and handled minor pace changes skillfully throughout the race. His best split occurred during the third mile clocking in at 6:24, showing his ability to maintain pace with speed. Although slight increases in pace from mile 4 to mile 11 were observed, Miguel demonstrated his endurance by keeping each split under 7:21. As a member of the McKirdy Trained team, he placed 29th in his M35-39 division out of numerous competitors. A notable aspect of Miguel's race was his consistency in moving between positions, particularly striking during the last couple of splits where he climbed back from being 287th to his finishing position of 313th overall out of 3859 participants.
