Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Lydia Mosley, from Phoenix, AZ, displayed consistent pacing throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Her performance improved significantly in the latter half of the race. She completed the race in 1:49:01 with an impressive pace of 8:19 min/mile. Notably, Lydia managed to elevate her pace during the final miles, finishing strong with a 7:33 min/mile pace in the last split. Her strategic approach led to a 7th place finish in her F15-18 category out of a strong field of competitors. Analyzing her splits: Lydia began with an 8:47 min/mile pace, consistently improving her split times. She reached her quickest split at mile 13 with a time of 7:33. This demonstrates her ability to reserve energy for a powerful finish. As her coach, maintaining this stamina while slightly reducing the low-pace variability can enhance future results and potentially propel her to an even higher placement.
