Consistency and Progress in Long-Distance Running Manuel Soriano, running in the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, showcased a strong overall performance with an elapsed time of 1:56:47 and an average pace of 8:54 min/mile. He maintained consistent pace in the early stages, with his fastest split at 8:05 min/mile during the third mile. Splits showed varied paces ranging from 8:05 to 9:37 min/mile. Displaying steady pacing improvements, he achieved the same finish time and pace as in the prior year’s race, demonstrating remarkable consistency. Soriano concluded the race ranked 86th within the M35-39 category, with overall placement of 1178 out of 3859 participants.
