Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Aaron Gilliam delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Competing in the Male 25-29 division, he completed the 13.1 miles in 1:05:07 with an impressive overall pace of 4:58 min/mile. His capability to maintain a consistent high speed is evident, as he secured the top spot in his division and finished 6th overall out of 3,859 participants. Notably, Aaron achieved his fastest split between miles 6 and 7 with a pace of 4:23 min/mile. This demonstrates a competence for maintaining a strong tempo even in the latter stages of the race. A strategic move can be observed in how Aaron positioned himself close to the top throughout the race, particularly during mile 2 where he elevated to 3rd overall.
