Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Olivia DeRogatis maintained an impressive average pace of 6:04 min/mile over the half marathon distance, completing the 2025 Mesa Marathon in 1:19:34. Her performance was marked by strong early miles, including a notably swift second mile at 5:37 min/mile. This effort saw her initially rise in placement across several metrics, reaching a high point by mile two where she stood 15th in her gender category. She displayed consistent pacing throughout, with particularly strong splits at miles six and twelve, clocking 5:46 and 6:03 respectively. Although her rankings fluctuated slightly, DeRogatis concluded the race in the top 24 females and 10th in her F25-29 division out of 3,859 total participants. By analyzing her pace drops during some splits and continuing to refine her race strategy, Olivia can build on this performance for future events.
