Consistent Splits and Strong Finish Lauren Kelly from Philadelphia competed in the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Lauren maintained a consistent pace throughout the 13.1 miles, concluding with an impressive total time of 1:18:50 at an average pace of 6:01 min/mile. Each of her mile splits stayed within the 5:31 to 6:15 min/mile range, indicating a solid pacing strategy. Particularly noteworthy were the splits for the 3rd and 13th miles, clocking at 5:38 and 5:35, respectively. Lauren finished 99th overall among 3859 participants and secured the 21st spot among females, while consistently staying in the top tier of her age division, Female 30-34, placing as high as 5th during the race. Although her placement fluctuated slightly, her ability to maintain position around the same rankings demonstrates a well-executed race strategy. To refine her race further, focusing on maintaining those faster split times could enhance her overall performance and elevate her rankings even more.
