Consistency and Perseverance Mark the Finish Dan Nguyen, from Pasadena, CA, showed impressive consistency and endurance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile course in 4:22:49, with a pace of 10:01 min/mile. Notably, Dan maintained a strong initial pace, clocking his fastest mile at 7:48 and holding an impressive average pace for the first half of the race. His pacing strategy reflected a thoughtful approach, helping him place 229th in his competitive M30-34 division. While the splits show a gradual increase in times, two solid miles under 8 minutes in the first half indicate potential for increased speed over longer distances.
