Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Abhijeet Kulkarni from Chandler, AZ, demonstrated consistent pacing throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon's 10K event, completing it in 1:20:02 with an average pace of 12:54 min/mile. While his pacing varied slightly across the splits, there was notable improvement in the final mile. His fastest split was at mile 6 with a pace of 11:02 min/mile, showing a commendable burst of speed towards the end. Within the male 45-49 division, Abhijeet placed 73rd out of his peers and 586th in the overall gender category. There is potential for improved efficiency in the middle splits, as the pace slightly slowed from miles 2 to 3. Nonetheless, the strong finish and consistent pace throughout the race indicate solid endurance and a good understanding of pacing strategy.
