Consistent Pacing and Steady Progress Diana Anderson showcased remarkable consistency during the 2025 Mesa Marathon, maintaining a steady pace around the 7-minute-per-mile mark for most of the race. Her splits reflect a strong start, with her fastest mile, 20th, at an impressive 6:44 pace. She managed to stay in the top five of her F45-49 division for a significant portion of the race, ultimately finishing 6th. Her overall race time of 3:11:41 demonstrates significant improvement from her previous marathon times, notably bettering her 2024 performance by over 24 minutes. Throughout the marathon, Diana's pacing was relatively stable, although the 21st mile posed a slight challenge with an 8:47 pace. This late-stage slow down may suggest an opportunity to focus on endurance training to maintain her speed in the final miles.
