Jana Maintains Steady Pace Throughout Marathon Jana completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a total time of 4:48:17, averaging an 11:00 min/mile pace over the 26.2-mile distance. Her pacing was consistent; she began with a 9:25 min/mile pace for the first mile and maintained an average pace between 10:00 and 11:00 min/mile through most of the race. Notably, her fastest mile was mile 1 at 9:25, while her slowest pace occurred during mile 23 at 12:37 min/mile. Jana finished 2429th overall out of 3624 participants and 145th in her division for females aged 30-34. Jana's performance reveals a strong ability to recover and adjust her pacing as needed. Although the average pace slowed slightly in the later stages, she was able to counter this with strategic pacing adjustments.
