Consistent Strides with a Strong Finish Jonathan Constantinides from Pasadena showcased impressive performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. Maintaining a steady increase in pace, he completed the race in 44:30, securing 58th in the Male category and 12th in his M30-34 division. Notably, Jonathan sped up as the race progressed, moving from a 7:41 min/mile in the first mile to a swift 6:36 min/mile in the final mile. Such a negative split approach can be advantageous in building endurance for future events. As part of the TWV Tucson team, Jonathan displayed a consistent progression across all splits. With a final pace of 7:10 min/mile over 6.2 miles, he excelled in optimizing his endurance and speed. For future races, consider maintaining the swift pace achieved in the latter stages to potentially improve overall standing. Great consistency and an impressive finish conclude Jonathan’s performance in a field of 2,107 participants.
