Consistent Tempo with Strategic Split Intervals Jazmin Turney from Glendale, AZ demonstrated a solid performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, showcasing consistent pacing throughout the 26.2-mile course. Notably, she maintained an average pace of 8:31 min/mile, crossing the finish line with an official time of 3:43:22. Early on, Jazmin set a steady tempo, recording an impressive split of 8:15 min/mile in the first mile and maintaining a similar pace through the midway point, only showing slight variations. Interestingly, Jazmin's splits revealed a strategic approach, such as her fastest split at 17 miles with a time of 7:42 min/mile, indicating tactical energy conservation for a strong push.
