Consistent Performance Yields Top Division Result Patrick completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon in a time of 2:24:44, achieving an overall pace of 5:31 min/mile. Focus on the splits reveals consistent pacing with the fastest mile logged at 4:59. Notable splits include the first mile at 5:20, and Patrick showed resilience by maintaining near-constant splits later, such as mile 25 at 5:34. Patrick's final overall position was 5th out of 3624 participants and he placed 1st in his division (M30-34). In terms of progression, the performance was commendable. Patrick showcased a strong finish, including a significant split update by moving from 6th overall to 5th by the end. While maintaining overall position is impressive, the data suggests a brief pacing slowdown at miles 22 and 23, where the split times increased. Addressing sustained speed through the latter stages could ensure continued top placements in future races.
