Consistent Pace and Strong Finish from Las Vegas Runner Chad Sugimoto demonstrated impressive pacing at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, securing a final time of 3:48:20 for the 26.2-mile course. With an average pace of 8:42 min/mile, Chad kept a steady rhythm throughout the race. Notably, he achieved his fastest mile during the 6th mile, clocking in at 7:42 min/mile. Chad's performance peaked with a solid improvement in his division, particularly evident with his 19th mile, where he significantly moved up in his division from 66th to 48th place. His racing strategy allowed him to maintain an overall position close to the top third of all participants by the end. Fine-tuning the pacing in earlier miles may enable future performances to break away from the pack more efficiently. Well done on a strong and disciplined performance!
