Consistent Pacing with a Strong Start Kenneth Adams demonstrated a steady performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, tackling a half marathon distance with an overall time of 2:18:52. His average pace was 10:36 min/mile, which remained fairly consistent throughout the race. Notably, his strongest split occurred between miles 2 and 3, clocking in at 10:19 min/mile. He started with a solid pace of 10:32 min/mile in the first mile, putting him 67th in his division. This shows a promising start, indicating a good pace strategy. A slight deceleration was observed in the latter part of the race, with the slowest split recorded at mile 13 with a pace of 11:15 min/mile. Encouragingly, Kenneth improved his standing positions late in the race, especially between miles 7 and 8, moving up in his division. Continuing to focus on maintaining later race splits will further enhance his performance.
