Consistent Splits with Selective Speed Gains Tabor Hemming's latest race performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon displayed a solid consistency across the course. Her overall elapsed time was 1:16:21 with an average pace of 5:49 min/mile over the 13.1-mile distance. Noteworthy splits include mile 3, where she picked up the pace to 5:11 min/mile, which was her fastest split. Despite a slower start with the first split at 5:36 min/mile, Tabor managed to maintain paces largely within a tight range, illustrating effective pace control. In the women's F25-29 division, Tabor secured the 6th place while being 12th in gender ranking. Although her overall placement was 71st out of 3,859 participants, there are opportunities for optimization. Her performance in mile 8 showed a gradual decline in pace to 6:15 min/mile. Focusing on strength and endurance training could help Tabor maintain her early pace throughout the race.
