Consistently Strong Performance with Remarkable Splits Erik Chazin completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon's Half Marathon with an overall time of 1:14:02, maintaining an impressive pace of 5:39 min/mile. Out of 3,859 participants, Erik secured the 63rd position overall and was the 54th male to cross the finish line. Within his age group, Men 30-34, Erik placed 19th, competing as part of the Delancey Loopers team. Analyzing his splits, Erik demonstrated a consistent pace, achieving a swift 5:07 min/mile in the 13th mile. The 6th mile was also notable, covered in just 5:14. while the 9th mile showed a strong pace of 5:33. Maintaining close to six-minute mile paces, particularly with four miles under 5:30, showcases his endurance and speed. Comparing with previous races, he has slightly increased his half marathon time, but with a strong overall performance. Continuing to build on these consistent efforts will help him further refine his strategy and performance.
