Strong Pace with Consistent Splits Nicholas Taylor maintained an admirable split pace at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, with a consistent effort throughout the 26.2 miles. His average pace of 6:43 min/mile contributed to his final time of 2:56:04. Notably, Nicholas started strong with a 6:13 min/mile in the first mile. Although splits slightly slowed towards the end, he managed to keep most splits close to his pace. His fastest split was mile 17 at 6:05, showcasing a capacity for faster paces during the mid-point of the race. Nicholas ranked 135th overall out of 3,624 participants, placing 129th among men and 24th in his division for M35-39. Compared to his previous race at the 2024 Mesa Marathon, where he finished with a time of 2:52:40, there's a slight increase in time. Focus on maintaining those early quick splits in future races could provide a solid payoff. Great job representing Delancey Loopers with consistent pacing!
