Steady Progression with Strong Finish in 10K Jacquie Mayo demonstrated consistent improvement during her race, with splits showing a notable increase in pace. Starting at 9:55 min/mile for the first split, she managed to progressively trim down her pace, achieving her fastest mile at the 6th split with a pace of 8:44 min/mile. Her overall elapsed pace for the 10K was 9:26 min/mile. Jacquie’s ability to consistently lower her split times is commendable, especially as the race progressed. Her performance placed her 7th in the F55-59 division, with noteworthy placements in earlier splits, such as being 4th at the first mile. Maintaining strong division placement through the race, she reached the finish in 58:33. With 2107 participants, her overall placing was 456th, and she represented the Foothills Running Club.
