Consistent Splits Highlight a Strong Performance Jarrett Torres showcased consistent pacing with an overall elapsed time of 1:34:36 in the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon event. Maintaining a consistent pace around the 7:13 min/mile mark, Jarrett’s fastest split was at mile 13 with a time of 6:47, while the most consistent splits hovered between 7:00 and 7:30 per mile, reflecting a well-managed effort over the entire course. In his age division (M19-24), Jarrett achieved a solid placement throughout the race, ranging from 19th to 25th, ultimately finishing 22nd in the division. His ability to improve from 24th to 19th in some parts is commendable. He did well to maintain focus and composure, ending with a strong performance as part of the Atlanta Run Club. A slight focus on sustaining the pace would lead to even stronger future races. Keep up the good work and watch out for opportunities to push during the mid-segment of the race.
