Consistent Pacing with Strategic Improvements Stefan Fraberger from Vienna delivered a strategic performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. His pacing was commendably consistent, maintaining an average pace of 7:40 min/mile across the 13.1-mile course. His fastest split was at mile 3 with a 7:03 min/mile pace, indicating strong potential for speed enhancement in future races. In contrast, the opening mile was his most conservative, clocking in at 8:16. He showed resilience in maintaining a steady pace, particularly in the latter stages, with his 11th and 12th miles at 7:40 and 7:53 min/mile, respectively. Despite facing shifts in placement, Stefan managed to maintain a steady position, finishing 368th in the male category and 81st in his age division. Focusing on slightly quicker starts and maintaining momentum could further enhance his performance in subsequent events. His ability to finish strong with a final mile of 7:06 is especially encouraging.
