Consistent Pacing with Areas to Enhance Efficiency During the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, David Richter maintained a commendably consistent pace with notable performance through his splits. He started with a 9:06 min/mile for the initial mile, then significantly improved his pacing to a strong 7:55 min/mile by mile 3. Noteworthy was his performance at mile 6 with an 8:04 min/mile pace, demonstrating resilient pacing ability close to the midpoint of the race. However, a slight decrease in pace was observed towards the end, particularly from mile 10 onwards where the split pace increased to 9:07 min/mile. Overall, David completed the half marathon in 1:54:04, maintaining an average pace of 8:42 min/mile. He placed 77th in his division (M35-39) out of 3859 total participants.
