Consistent Splits with Notable Mid-Race Recovery Meg Scarlett displayed commendable consistency throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon. Her splits showed a steady start with an initial mile completion at 10:59 min/mile. She maintained an average pace close to 10:59 min/mile across the entire 13.1 miles. Remarkably, she achieved her fastest single-mile split at mile 3, with a pace of 10:11 min/mile, suggesting a strong surge early in the race. Notably, Meg adapted well during the latter part of the race, particularly at mile 8 where she improved her pace to 11:20 min/mile after a slower mile 7. Her overall finish time of 2:23:53 secured her 48th place in the F55-59 division among 138 competitors.
