Consistent Strides with a Strong Finish Addie's performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon was notably consistent, especially considering the incremental improvements throughout the race. Running at an average pace of 8:15 minutes per mile, she completed the half marathon in 1:48:14. Addie displayed impressive pacing in the first half, with her fastest split at mile 6 with a time of 7:46. Even in the later stages, she maintained her speed with a final mile split of 7:40. It's remarkable that her pacing remained stable despite the long distance. In her division, Female 15-18, Addie held a strong presence. Her overall division placing was 6th out of a participant pool indicating solid competitiveness. Her highest division placing was in the first few miles, showcasing energy and early race strategy. For future races, focusing on sustaining energy and minimizing time variation in later miles might yield even better results. Overall, a commendable effort that demonstrates potential for future growth in pace strategy.
