Consistent Split Performance with Variable Pacing Britta Black maintained a steady performance throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, completing the event with a total time of 1:57:02. Over 13.1 miles, Britta averaged an 8:56 min/mile pace, placing her 496th out of 1,939 female participants, and 93rd in her F35-39 division. Her starting splits demonstrated strong pacing, especially between miles 1 and 3, with split paces of 8:36, 8:03, and 7:57, respectively. After a peak in speed early in the race, Britta experienced a slight deceleration in her latter splits, with 9:14 min/mile at mile 7 and a return to an 8:59 min/mile by mile 13.
