Consistent Mid-Pack Performance with Speedy Finish Cecily Liechti, 36, from Phoenix, showcased a consistent performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event. Her overall time was 55:03, with an average pace of 8:52 min/mile. Notably, her final mile was her fastest split at 8:00 min/mile, demonstrating a strong finish. Throughout the race, Cecily maintained her placement around the mid-pack among the 2107 participants, ending 317th overall and 108th among females. She also ranked 24th in her age division, F35-39. Impressively, Cecily improved her pace as the race progressed, with her first mile at 9:55 min/mile and second mile improving to 8:31 min/mile. Maintaining an agile pace in the latter half of the race, her 5th mile saw her best split pace at 8:46 min/mile until the final mile. Consider focusing on starting faster in future races to help move up in rankings, but commendably, you ended on a high note!
