Consistent Performance with Notable Finishes Hunter Gillett maintained a steady pace at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, completing it in 1:56:58 with an average pace of 8:55 min/mile. Noteworthy is the strong finish in the M15-18 division, taking 25th place out of a competitive field. The pacing strategy was effective; he started with a 9:59 min/mile pace in the first mile and closed with a strong 7:49 min/mile for the last mile. This indicates an exceptional finishing kick, improving from a 9:59 opening pace to a consistent sub-9 min/mile in several segments. Reviewing previous performances, this result marks a substantial improvement from his 2023 10K race, where he averaged 11:05 min/mile.
