Consistent Pacing with Strong Finish Jacob showed impressive control in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race. Starting with a 9:20 min/mile pace for the first mile, Jacob improved incrementally with each split. By mile 4, his pace reached 8:57 min/mile, showcasing his ability to conserve energy effectively. His strength really shone through in the second half, where he picked up the pace, notably finishing mile 11 with a split time of 7:42 min/mile. Jacob completed the half marathon with a final time of 1:50:02 and an overall pace of 8:24 min/mile. He finished 90th in his division, out of a total of 3859 participants, highlighting his solid performance in a competitive field.
