Consistent Pace Leads to Top Division Finish Diane McCloskey, representing the Foothills Running Club, delivered a remarkable performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event. She maintained a strong pace throughout, with each mile quicker than the last. Starting with a 9:42 min/mile pace, Diane improved steadily, culminating in a 7:59 min/mile for her final split. Her overall pace for the 10K was an impressive 8:59 min/mile, and she completed the race in a total time of 55:47. Her steady improvement observed through the splits illustrates a commendable ability to manage speed and exertion. Diane claimed 1st place in her F65-69 division, showcasing her competitive edge. Her most significant leap was between miles four and five, reducing her split time by 30 seconds.
