Steady Marathon Performance at 2025 Mesa Marathon Emil delivered a consistent performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon. His overall elapsed time was 4:23:53, reflecting an average pace of 10:04 minutes per mile over the 26.2 miles. Notably, Emil kicked off with a strong first mile of 8:25, holding significant pace until mile 6, with just a slight increase in elapsed times from miles 7 through 13. The mid-race splits between miles 14 to 21 presented some deceleration, with splits ranging from 9:49 to 11:49. Despite the slowdown in the final miles, Emil's pace stabilized to maintain strong placement in his age group, finishing 88th out of 93 in the Male 50-54 division. Compared to previous races, Emil improved his overall time, showcasing progress since the 2024 Mesa Marathon where his timeframe was 4:30:09.
