Consistent Pace with Notable Improvement Corey maintained a strong and steady pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, finishing with an impressive time of 1:06:00. His splits exhibited strategic pacing, with a standout split of 4:30 during the 13th mile that demonstrated a strong finish. Corey showed exceptional consistency in his performance, maintaining an average pace of 5:02 min/mile. Notably, he secured top placements in his division, ranking 3rd in the M30-34 category. Compared to his previous performance at the 2022 Mesa Marathon, Corey improved significantly, shaving off over a minute and a half from his previous time of 1:07:35, and progressing from 17th overall to 8th. His ability to adapt and push through is evident, particularly with his climb to 1st in his division in the 11th and 12th splits. Focusing on maintaining split consistency can further enhance his competitive edge in future events.
