Consistent Pacing with Strong Finish Diana showcased a well-paced performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. She maintained a steady rhythm with an overall average pace of 9:05 min/mile across the 13.1-mile course. Starting strong, her first mile split was 9:01, and she managed to improve her pace significantly in the subsequent miles. Notably, her third mile recorded an impressive split pace of 7:56 min/mile, demonstrating a capacity to pick up speed early in the race. Towards the latter part of the race, Diana experienced a slight decrease in speed with splits over 9-minute miles, particularly between the 7th and the 11th mile. Despite this, she maintained her average pace and finished with a total time of 1:59:06. Diana ranked 75th in her division (F40-44) out of 3859 participants, reflecting her endurance and racing strategy. Emphasizing consistent pacing strategies in future races could further enhance overall performance.
