Improved Consistency Over Time Sibish Basheer delivered a performance that demonstrated growing consistency at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event with the Finish Line Dreamers. Completing the 10K in 1:15:31, he maintained an average pace of 12:10 min/mile. Notably, Sibish improved his pace from his previous 13.1-mile half-marathon performance in 2022, where he averaged a 13:45 min/mile pace. The split times reveal a clear pattern of initial energy followed by a slight decrease in speed, then a recovery. His first mile was completed in 11:11 min/mile, indicating a strong start. There was a slight drop to a 13:20 min/mile pace by the third mile. Impressively, he picked up the pace to 11:46 min/mile in the final mile. To further enhance his performance, focusing on sustaining the pace exhibited in the last mile across the race could be beneficial. His 53rd place in the M40-44 division shows promise.
