Consistency and Steady Effort Define the Race Alejandra maintained a consistent running pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon, showing impressive stability in her early splits. Splits between miles 1 and 10 averaged a pace around 9:35-9:39 min/mile. She demonstrated resilience with her fastest mile at a 8:57 min/mile pace at mile 4. Alejandra successfully completed the marathon clocking in at 5:04:19, achieving an overall pace of 11:36 min/mile. Her performance dipped slightly in the later miles, with the pace extending to 11:18 min/mile by mile 25 and ending with 11:35 min/mile at mile 26. Despite this, Alejandra showcased determination, finishing strongly. Her overall placement was 2660 out of 3624 participants. In her division (F19-24), she finished in 79th place. To improve, consider addressing the pace drop in the latter part of the race. Great effort representing OBRunners!
