Consistent Start, Opportunity to Strengthen Finish Janna Allen, a 47-year-old runner from Eagle Mountain, UT, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon with notable splits in the early stages. The initial splits were strong, beginning with an 11:05 min/mile pace and a consistent pace of approximately 11:06 min/mile through the first 3 miles. Ranking 54th in her division after mile 1 was a positive beginning.
