Consistent Effort and Strategic Pacing Highlight Performance Lacey Lines completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with a total time of 4:09:50 at a consistent pace of 19:04 min/mile. Maintaining a steady rhythm throughout the race, she showed particular strength in the early miles, clocking a 13:36 min/mile at the first mile. Her initial strong performance was evident as she placed 82nd in her age division in that lap. Opportunities for improvement can be observed in maintaining pace consistency. A slight deceleration occurred after the second mile, leading to an eventual slowdown in the latter stages. For future races, focusing on mid and late race pacing strategies could be beneficial. The data suggests potential in improving splits towards the race's end, particularly at miles 8 and beyond. Despite a minor drop in pace during the final miles, Lacey demonstrated tenacity by maintaining her overall position within her division in this challenging setting.
