Consistent Strides at Mesa Marathon Claudia Marquez delivered a solid performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon with an overall finish time of 4:07:34, maintaining a steady pace of 9:26 min/mile. Her consistency was evident, with many mile splits staying close to her overall average. Notably, she showed a burst of speed in mile 17 with an energetic 8:25 split pace. Over the course of 26.2 miles, Marquez managed to hold a strong position, finishing 525th in her gender and 89th in her division (F40-44) out of 3,624 participants. An area of focus could be maintaining her early race pace in later stages. While miles 1 and 3 featured paces around 9:24 and 9:10, the later miles saw fluctuations, such as a 10:10 pace in mile 21. Nonetheless, Claudia's finish was powerful with her fastest closing mile at 8:29. Overall, representing OBRunners, Claudia demonstrated dedication and resilience throughout the race.
