Steady Effort Leads to Solid Finish Marcey Revis completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with a total time of 2:43:35 and an average pace of 12:29 min/mile. Consistent pacing was evident in her splits. The fastest mile was clocked at 11:16 min/mile during miles 3 and 6, while the slowest was 14:01 min/mile during the final mile. Marcey demonstrated robust control in pacing, maintaining a near-steady performance across the race distance. Marcey had a notable performance in the F50-54 division. Her rank improved at various points, showing stronger finishes in certain segments, notably placing 116th in her division and 1366th in her gender category at Mile 12. Her team, Black Girls RUN!, can take pride in her determined effort. Consider working on endurance to maintain speed in the later stages of the race, as slight pace drops were observed in the final miles. Overall, a commendable commitment to the course.
