Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Frances maintained an impressive and consistent pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 3:33:40. The average pace was 8:09 min/mile, displaying her ability to hold steady through the race's entirety. Frances notably performed well in later segments, maintaining a strong pace and even improving during challenging stretches at miles 19 and 23 with paces of 8:04 and 8:38 min/mile, respectively. Consistent performance is highlighted by the minor deviations in split times, with splits averaging between 7:38 and 8:58 min/mile. Placing 45th in the Female 35-39 division out of a competitive field and achieving 212th among females in the race showcase her commendable effort. Moving forward, refining strategies for the latter miles would allow Frances to capitalize on her ability to maintain pace while slightly reducing any slowdown towards mile 26. Finishing 823rd overall in a field of 3624 participants further amplifies Frances's strong showing throughout the race.
