Consistent Effort With a Strong Finish Chelsea Farnsworth, 36, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. She maintained a steady pace to lock in an overall time of 1:18:28 with a 12:39 min/mile average pace. Impressively, her fastest split was the sixth mile, completed in 12:11, showcasing a strong finish. Chelsea placed 104th in her division out of 2107 participants, representing her team, Farny Fam. Examining Chelsea's performance reveals a peak early in the race with a first mile split of 12:14, and a second mile pace improvement to 12:06. Despite a slight slowdown during miles three to five, she regained momentum in the final stretch. Her past half marathon performances show Chelsea is becoming more consistent over long distances, with this 10K marking a faster pace than her recent half marathon in 2023.
